1. Using this website
These Terms of Use apply to desmoslife.com and to communications with Desmos Life Insurance Agency, a trade name of Allen Davis Enterprises LLC ("Desmos Life," "we," "us"). By using the site or requesting a quote, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the site only for lawful purposes.
2. SMS / text message terms
Program: Desmos Life quote and appointment messages.
What you'll receive: text messages from Desmos Life and its licensed agents about the life insurance quote you requested, including follow-up questions, appointment scheduling and reminders, and responses to your messages.
How you opt in: by checking the consent box on our quote form (it is never pre-checked and is not required to request a quote), or by giving us your consent directly.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt out: reply STOP to any message to cancel. You'll receive one final message confirming you've been unsubscribed, and no further texts will be sent.
Help: reply HELP for help, or email [email protected].
- Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
- Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- You must be the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide, and 18 or older.
- If you change or give up your number, please reply STOP or let us know so we don't text the new owner.
- We do not sell or share your mobile number or opt-in data with third parties for marketing. See section 3 of our Privacy Policy.
3. Calls and prerecorded messages
If you agree on our quote form, Desmos Life and its licensed agents may call you at the number you provided, including calls made using automated technology and prerecorded voicemail messages, about your life insurance request. You can ask us to stop calling at any time by telling an agent or emailing us. Calls may be recorded for quality and training where permitted by law, and we will tell you when a call is recorded.
4. Insurance information
Information on this website is general and for educational purposes only. It is not a contract, offer of coverage or legal, tax or financial advice. Coverage is subject to the terms of the policy issued by the insurance carrier, underwriting approval and state availability. Quotes are estimates until a policy is approved and issued. Desmos Life is an independent agency and is compensated by insurance carriers when policies are placed.
5. Limitations
The website is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, Desmos Life is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the website. We may update these terms at any time; the "last updated" date shows the latest version.
